We start the High Holy Day season of 2016/5777 by marking the 11th Yahrzeit of our synagogue's founder Rabbi Meier Schimmel, ז״ל and celebrating Beth Meier’s commitment to offer love to all people and show them the beauty of Judaism.

SCHEDULE OF SERVICES FOR 5777/2016

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur Services will be held at our neighbor's sanctuary: The First Christian Church of N. Hollywood, 4390 Colfax Ave (images above). Pastor Robert M. Bock continues to accommodate our needs in making the sanctuary a welcoming environment for our High Holy Day services and hopes to continue the familial relationship with us that he once enjoyed with our founder, Rabbi Meier Schimmel, ז״ל.

Yom Kippur
Tuesday, October 11th: Kol Nidrei at 6:15pm
Wednesday, October 12th: Yom Kippur morning Services at 8:30am* (Yiskor)
& Blessing of Children, Minchah, Neilah starting at 5:15pm

*The Torah reading is at approximately 10am.
Yiskor is recited during the Yom Kippur Morning Service, October 12th, at about 11am.
The Children's Blessing will be on Yom Kippur at 5:15pm, October 12th. Join us for Break-Fast immediately after the Neilah (Closing) Services, October 12th.
