Who We Are

Congregation Beth Meier is a Conservative synagogue that has served the San Fernando Valley Jewish community since it was founded in 1958. Under the leadership and spiritual guidance of Rabbi Meier Schimmel, z"l, the Congregation evolved from its early days of meeting in the rabbi’s backyard to its present location. We are affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
